Look who’s tweeting next

After I was bitching about the silly location-based language settings employed by Google’s Blogger, it’s now Twitter’s time to be stupid … while trying to be smart.

Although my Twitter language is set to English, they are trying to be (too) friendly and since they’ve launched Twitter Japan they are sending me emails in Japanese!

I suppose it’s based on my location (Tokyo), but that’s not how it should be. Guys, look at the user’s language settings when you are sending those emails! Not at location!
